100% cashmere yarn in classic red, carefully reclaimed from a discarded women’s sweater.  This yarn is worsted weight and deliciously soft and pettable.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 190 yards / 174 meters, 2.8 ounces / 81 grams, no knots
• 180 yards / 165 meters, 2.7 ounces / 78 grams, 1 knot
• 140 yards / 128 meters, 2.1 ounces / 60 grams, no knots (Quantity: 2)

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
