100% cashmere yarn in black, carefully reclaimed from a discarded men’s pullover.  This yarn is three-ply and a heavy lace weight, soft and luxurious.

This sweater yielded four skeins:

• 790 yards / 704 meters, 3.0 ounces / 86 grams, 1 knot
• 690 yards / 631 meters, 2.8 ounces / 80 grams, 2 knots
• 540 yards / 494 meters, 2.3 ounces / 64 grams, 2 knots
• 520 yards / 475 meters, 2.0 ounces / 58 grams, 2 knots

Cashmere is light, warm, soft, and surprisingly durable. Handwash in lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent (or a squirt of shampoo and a dab of conditioner), and dry flat.
